Why Use Boosted wraps?
Boilies where originally created to ward off the unwanted attention of small fish when using paste baits. Boiling paste bait with eggs causes the bait to skin forming a boilie, this skin locks in the flavour and ingredients within the boilie, only allowing the true goodness to be tasted once the bait has been eaten.
Things have moved on and to boost the attraction of boilies many anglers are now wrapping paste around their hookbait. With our boosted baits we have achieved this in an off the shelf convenient form. The outer surface of the bait is coated with a soluble paste bonded to the boilie centre; this coating is packed with soluble fish attractors, natural sugars etc, which increase the attraction and nutritional signal given out by the bait.
Once in water this forms a soft paste outer, giving a texture totally different to standard boilies this is the appearance of bait that has been in the water for some time. On many waters fish associate baits that have been in the water for period of time with safety.
