After the disappointment of losing a big Grass Carp last week Duncan breaks his PB with a fish of 32lbs 2oz

Duncan Charman returned to a Cemex Yateley water more determined than ever. Casting a method lead to overhanging bushes at the edge of an island at some sixty yards, Duncan’s 10mm Tutti Frutti Boosted Wrap fished snowman style was eventually picked up in the early hours.

Another unspectacular fight saw the fish explode again within the net but this time both hands held the net firm and a personal best of 32lbs 2oz lay within. Knowing how difficult on the bank these fish can be, Duncan quickly weighed her and took just one self-take before sliding her back. The same bait was again picked up at first light with resulted in a 6lbs 5oz tench.

Duncan beat the fish using Korum Neoteric 1-75 Twin Tip Rods, 10lbs Korum Advanced main line to a 2oz Inline Dung lead covered in scolded 6mm hard halibut pellets, a 7-04lb eight inch hooklink and a size 12 Korum S3 barbed hook.
