ADAM WAKELIN –
Adam Wakelin, 26, is a commercial fisheries master with numerous top 10 White Acres festival results under his belt including winning in 2008. A super-consistent matchman, Adam, from Mansfield, loves to fish the pellet waggler and the feeder. Catching big bream on the Method feeder is his favourite angling style, and he also loves catching F1s shallow on the pole.
Former Angling Times technical and match fishing editor Alan is an all-rounder who is just as happy on rivers as he is on commercials or fishing traditional silver fish stillwater venues.
Alan is an up and coming specimen angler, he has a reputation for catching big fish from all his local waters. A considered and dedicated approach, along with attention to detail, motivation and awesome watercraft Make Alan one of the top specimen anglers in the UK
The Fin has revolutionised match fishing on commercial venues and is one of the most forward-thinking match anglers in the UK today. Responsible for developing the Sonu Fin Perfect range of groundbaits and pellets, his blogs will be a wealth of inside info if you are into commercial carping.
Chris is extremely well known as an all round angler and has fished since childhood, never losing the enthusiasm or lust for travel. He is just as happy catching small gudgeon up the local canal as hauling giant Conger eels from wartime wrecks in the English Channel from a charter boat!
Now based at Worcester, he has become renowned as a Barbel fiend and has plundered local rivers for years. Now he is passing on his knowledge and enthusiasm as a Fishing Guide.
He works very closely as a consultant with Korum and Sonubaits, helping develop and test new fishing gear.
Clint Elliott, 50, is fishery manager at White Acres in Cornwall and has a classy match fishing pedigree, having spent several years as an integral part of the mighty Starlets outfit. Fishing for skimmers and tench are his first loves.

Dave Lumb spent the best part of twenty five years fishing for pike and other predatory fish, but like most anglers he started off fishing for their prey. In 2004 he went back to basics fishing rivers for barbel and chub and still waters for tench, bream and roach - even visiting commercials for whatever comes along on occasions. Although catching bigger fish is what Dave sets his stall out to achieve, his primary aim is to enjoy himself.
Des fishes at the top level on the domestic match circuit with Dorking and is an established member of the England international team. His most recent big win was the Parkdean Masters at White Acres, where victory netted him a grand total of £25,000. Des is the complete all-rounder. If it swims, Des will catch it!
Duncan is a specimen angler who spends most of his angling time fishing for truly wild fish on rivers such as the Lodden and the Thames. Once he has located the fish he has to have 100% confidence that the bait he uses will catch them.
Ellis Brazier brings knowledge and experience combined with a forward thinking approach to bait and baiting tactics. He has experienced all aspects of fishing form extended periods on the bank to the short stay mobile approach.
Emma Pickering, 22, is the newly-crowned ladies World Champion and in a memorable 2008 has also won the Ladies Fish-O-Mania event. Daughter of former world Champion Tommy and ladies international Anne Pickering, she has the perfect pedigree for match fishing success. Emma enjoys all styles of match angling, particularly fishing tight to islands on snake lakes - and she rates F1s, roach and skimmers as her favourite species.
Gary is an angling journalist from Buckinghamshire who works full-time for Angler’s Mail. He has fished since the age of six and got into carp fishing when he was 12, fishing for them almost exclusively up until about six years ago when he became an all-rounder, now fishing for anything that takes his fancy.
Geoff, 46, is a key member of the Preston Innovations Delcac squad and he loves fishing, in particular, for bream. A true all-rounder, he is as happy on rivers as stillwaters or commercials and has been match fishining since the age of 13.

Although better known for the innovative products coming out of the Korum stable John has a long history in the bait industry, including having one of the first bait rolling services and a small Northwest based Bait Company. Working with Gary Bayes at Nash increased his knowledge even further.
In fact John has advised and even helped Sonubaits with developing products since the company began.
Lee, 33, is a current Wales international and last September won an individual bronze medal at the World Championships on Hungary's Lake Velence. A true all-rounder, while Lee has a deserved reputation on commercial fisheries, he is also a top river angler and last October smashed the River Wye five-hour match record with an amazing 316b chub haul from the Breinton stretch near Hereford.
Lee Kerry, 25, is the latest consultant to join the Sonubaits team. A top-flight match angler with the Barnsley Blacks match squad, civil and structural engineer Lee has fished at youth level for England three times and is a former Fish-O-Mania finalist. His favourite species is roach and his favourite style is long pole on deep canals and rivers with bloodworm.
Lee is a committed carp angler whose job involves looking after fish what more could an angler ask for.
He is also in a wonderful position to help develop and test new baits for Sonubaits.com
Carp cruncher Les is one of the most successful anglers on the commercial circuit and is equally at home bagging on the pole or running line. Check out his blogs for a regular insight into his tactics and results.
Mark has 30 years fishing under his belt and is only 33, his fishing started with sticklebacks in local ponds and has fished for most things including Sailfish in Florida. He has been a Specimen Carp Angler for over 10 years, but still gets sidetracked with other species as long as they are big!
Marks favorite method for catching big carp is floater fishing and stalking, but is equally at home trotting a stick float on a centerpin for roach.

Mick is an all rounder who finished team fishing 3 years ago to concentrate on commercials. He has twice been a finalist in the Spanish embassy, winner of the Ivan Marks Memorial in 2007 and individual champion in three different winter leagues
Neil Wayte has over 40 years experience of fishing a huge variety of waters across the country for a variety of species. He is the author of River Carping which is a book dedicated to catching carp from moving waters. With his knowledge of rivers he progressed to catching barbel and has had doubles from 7 UK rivers. He is equally at home on still waters fishing for specimens of all species. Neil offers a coaching and guiding service from beginners through to advanced levels in all aspects of fishing. Nigel, 39, lives in Porthcawl and is a Wales international match angler who fishes on the domestic circuit with Preston Innovations Thatcher’s. Nigel loves all styles of fishing but particularly enjoys fishing with pellets.

Ricky is General Manager of Preston Innovations. He has match-fished at the top level for many years with Saints. He loves all kinds of fishing and is a big fan of the festival scene at places such as White Acres. He also enjoys fishing for barbel in his spare time, with good results as can be seen from the photograph!
Sonubaits consultant Steve, 54, is the highly-respected captain of Dorking, arguably the best match team in the UK. A tackle dealer and a Preston Innovations consultant, he has one of the shrewdest angling brains in the business and a lifetime of match fishing experience to draw on. With Dorking he has been in the squad that has won a record seven Angling Times Winter League finals and nine Super League crowns. Currently manager of the England Under 18s team, his favourite fish are roach and he loves any style of fishing.
