I started the season on the River Trent and baited the swim with 10 big balls of Hemp & Hali Crush (75%) and Supercrush Method Mix (25%) loaded with 4mm and 8mm sonubaits halibut pellets

I fished over this with 4oz feeders loaded with the same mix and fishing 16mm Tuff 1 S-Pellets on the hair.

The result was a brace of 8lbs 10oz barbel, a smaller barbel plus a bream and a chub.
