My recent match calendar has led to me doing a lot of fishing for bream and skimmers on the tip using SonuBaits' P-Mix groundbait.

This is a type of fishing that I absolutely love and with September well and truly here there isn’t a better time to get out there and try it.
I am continually looking for the edge with my match fishing and recently I am convinced I have found a winning ground bait combination.
The mix centres around Sonu-baits P-Mix!.  When I first started using P-mix I thought with its high crushed hemp and fishmeal properties that it would be a winner for carp only. 
Therefore, I started using it for carp whilst Method fishing!  The results were pleasing and on venues were only carp were present, fish were dragging the rod in, however it opened my eyes on a recent visit to Barston Lakes. 
The lake's resident bream and skimmers couldn’t get enough of my ground bait mix and I started to think P-Mix had so much more to offer.
I have recently used it on the River Huntspill whilst practising for the Division 1 National and, mixed 50/50 with brown crumb, it provided a fantastic balance on a natural venue. 
I caught skimmers of all sizes, and by casting regularly at 40 yards, the active breakdown of the P-mix was definitely drawing fish into my peg.
On a commercial I now use P-Mix and Mix 1 in a 50/50 split for all my tip fishing and, based on results from my trips on the rivers, I will be hard pushed to leave it out of any mix for bream.
