This May bank holiday weekend was the first anniversary of the opening of Fishing World of Kent. The shop advertised a long weekend of events and kindly invited me to provide a carp rig clinic on the Saturday. I decided to do a day on pop up presentations and particle rigs.
After a relatively quiet morning the day began to pick up, anglers were interested in seeing the new 6mm drill and cork sticks for popping up tigernuts in action. The new Sonubaits tins were displayed at the shop for the first time and these received a huge amount of interest. I believe the shop is about to stock these along side their existing Sonu range. I know that Taz who works in the shop liked the tinned Hemp and Hookbaits as he tipped my display stock into his own bucket before I left!
I would like to thank Fishing Worlds of Kent manager Martin for inviting me and looking after me and for Taz who kept me busy between sessions tying up leadcore leaders for his own campaign on St Ives! The end of the month will see the second of the TNA fishery events when we are at Monks Lakes near Maidstone. The new Korum Precision rods will be in use and on display through out the whole Bank Holiday weekend so please pop down, there will be anglers demonstrating pole fishing, float and feeder along with me on all things carpy!
So if your near Monks at the end of the month pop in!
