spacer My Top Three Sonu Groundbaits - And When I use Them- Des Shipp   12 JANUARY 2010
spacer spacer spacer

I have three Sonubaits groundbaits that I love to use and here I will touch on each of them for blog readers.

Firstly, there is the Sonubaits Match Method Mix, which I tend to use most of the time. It could be down to the fact that In helped to develop it!
Basically, this is a great groundbait for Method feeder fishing and it is difficult to get the mix wrong.
All you need to do is mix it as soon as you get to your peg. One of the two kilo bags should be emptied into a bucket and you then simply add a two-pint bait tub of water.
Give the groundbait a good swill round and leave it for 45 minutes while you get on with tackling up. Then, just before the all-in,.tip the groundbait through a riddle and that's it, you are ready to fish with it. Simple!
Next up we have the Sonubaits F1 groundbait, which has fishmeal and brasem in it. This is versatile and I use it on the pole or for an open-ended feeder. Bream love it and it has tremendous pulling power, so if you haven't tried it yet, get down to your nearest Sonubaits dealer and buy some.
Last but not least I also want to mention Sonubaits' P-Mix. This is a sticky, fine groundbait which I love to use in the summer months particularly, when I can give the fish a ball of groundbait with casters and pellets in it, every put in.
There is a water near me in Bristol that responds well to this approach and the skimmers go crazy for P-Mix.
As I say, the particles are finely ground,  so you can mix it so that with one squeeze you can form a nugget which will hit the target before breaking up. Give it a try when summer finally arrives!
