I'm a big fan of Sonu Baits' F1 groundbait, as many Sonu website blog regulars will know.

But one thing that a lot of anglers may not know is that this groundbait, when sprinkled onto wetted feed pellets, enables you to form a nugget of fishmeal feed which is great for getting down to the deck on days when there is significant tow on stillwaters.
Out on the bank in the North West, this groundbait-coated squeezed ball of goodness is known as a Ferrero Rocher!
And next time you fish on a day when there is some  tow, caused by the wind, try sprinkling some dry F1 groundbait on to your Sonu Fin Perfect 2mm Feed Pellets.
Just give the lot a good mix, as the groundbait coats and separates each pellet, and give a small nugget a squeeze.
It will leave an enticing, appetising trail of fishmeal particles in its wake as it falls to the bottom.
But the most important thing is that the nugget of feed gets to the bottom where you plumbed up.
If you cup in small, neat feed pellets on days when there is a lot of tow, those pellets can drift in the tow, as they fall through the water, and end up several feet from where you set out to fish - and that's no good when you need to attract bites to catch fish!
On windy days, think Ferrero Rocher - and bag up!
