Exploding Fishmeal Feeder and Maggot do the Trick

Before doing this I have spent a few hours plumbing around a couple of lakes on the Yateley Complex that have the potential of this in order to familiarise myself with their make up.

Yateley Pumphouse has the potential of the Tench along with another and with my limited knowledge of artificial baits I decided to spend a couple of late afternoon sessions ironing out my rigs ready for the when the Tench wake up. Three rods were fished over two short evenings, in that time I managed six bream to 8lbs 5oz, all on the maggot and Sonubaits Explosive Fishmeal Feeder, except one that fell to a corn and maggot cocktail. My last session was on the Friday; a day later the lakes froze.
