Now is the Time for Barbel

Now is the time to really get some bait in for barbel fishing on the rivers. Why not try mixing some of our new Garlic Hemp and Chilli Hemp with Hemp & Hali Crush and run it through a feeder. It is a great way to get plenty of flavour running through the swim. My preferred hookbait choice with this isthe 8mm Spicy Sausage Pellet O.

Because the hemp is cooked in the tin with the garlic or chilli it infuses together and creates a strong smell, by mixing the two tins with the Hemp & Hali Crush all the juice from the tins is absorbed into the groundbait, this releases quickly into the swim drawing fish from downstream towards the feeder which has released the hemp and the biggest particle in the feeding zone is the hookbait which is inevitably one of the first things to get taken.
